WINNERS: British Hairdressing Awards Colour Technician of the Year 2009

There were celebrations as RUSH was awarded the title of British Colourist of the Year at the prestigious British Hairdressing Awards, presented by Hairdressers Journal International and sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional.

Chris Williams, International Colour Director for RUSH collected the award on behalf of the team. Chris is an integral part of the RUSH Artistic Team who continually push the boundaries in hairdressing and colour techniques. Chris personally trains all RUSH Stylists to exceptionally high standards of Cut and Colour services at the RUSH Advanced Academy, to ensure every RUSH salon offers the very best Colour services for our clients.

After receiving the award of British Colourist of the Year, Chris excalimed, "I was so pleased to win the title, it means so much not only to myself but everyone connected with RUSH. This award is also a great tribute to the fantastic hairdressing talent and creativity within RUSH".

WINNERS: British Hairdressing Business Awards Retail Salon of the Year 2009...

We are proud to announce that Rush Operations Director George Phouli picked up the award for Retail Salon of the Year at this year's British Hairdressing Business Awards. Held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on 27th September 2009, Rush were out in force to support George in this tremendous achievement. Not least, was 2008's Business Director of the Year and Rush Chairman, Andy Phouli who was handing over his crown. 

Both awards show great testimony to Rush's business acumen and the distance the brand has come in such a short space of time. Retail is a very important part of our business in helping clients to recreate their salon finish at home and to maintain their look for longer between appointments. As such, we ensure all of our staff members are highly trained in every aspect of Product Knowledge, thanks to our retail partners: L'Oreal, ghd, Tigi, KMS, Alterna, Paul Mitchell and Fudge.
