What our franchisees say
"Opening my own Rush salon was the pinnacle in my career. After working as a Stylist for Rush, it had become a life long dream that was able to become a reality due to the support and guidance of the Rush team. The ongoing support has helped me and my team make Rush Bromley a great success and we are proud to be part of the Rush group." Danielle Buckley, Rush Bromley.
Case studies
1. CHIRAG AND HINA HIRANI, WOKING
Chirag Hirani joined Rush in 2004 as a stylist. His dream was always to own his own business and he was ready to go it alone just as the Rush franchise programme took off in 2007. He opened his Woking salon in 2007 and with members of his staff he and his wife are now planning to open their second and third salons in the near future.
“Franchising as a couple in my view is a no brainer - it works well. The benefits far out way any negatives as to run a business two heads are always better than one.
When I started running my own franchise with my wife she had not worked for Rush before. However, she adapted very quickly which made our working relationship a lot stronger. Working together has had a very positive impact on our business as we are both driving towards the same goals with the ambition to expand and open more Rush salons.
As a business we pretty much hit the ground running with all the support and expert advice from Rush
We could not have been successful without the support and encouragement I received from the Rush Franchise, Operations and HR teams.
Opening a Rush franchise was one of the best decisions of my life and I have never looked back."
2. HUW JAMES, HORSHAM & SOUTHAMPTON:
Huw joined RUSH as a receptionist in the first Brighton salon in 2005. Initially he took the job as a stop-gap before making his next major career move, but once employed he realised very quickly that the potential was there within RUSH for him to achieve all his career goals.
"It was made very clear to me from the outset that I could move up through the company very quickly as long as I was willing to put in the hard work.
Within 6 months I was made manager of the second Brighton salon, and after almost 2 years I was opening my first franchise salon in Horsham. It has taken a lot of hours and a lot of hard work, dealing with all aspects of running a business from man-management to stock control, and everything in between. It has all proven to be worthwhile as the franchise in Horsham has grown into the busiest salon in town attracting the best staff within a year and the best of all is that it is making money. It is up to me how much.
All this was made possible with the continued support of the head office franchise team, and the academy education team making sure that highest standards of the RUSH brand were achieved and maintained throughout.
I have now just opened my second RUSH franchise in Southampton. This salon is growing even faster than the first and is testament to the RUSH philosophy that if you are willing to put in the work, then the rewards are there."
